    Sig p220 value?

Guys, I'm not much on pistols, but have the chance to buy a stainless sig p220 with about 60 rounds of ammo. Gun is in good shape, not excellent, but good. Any ideas on value? 2 mags included. Thanks!

      Yes it would be.

That's a $1000+ pistol new. If its in fair condition, I'd say $650-700 is going to be ball park asking price.

Buy that P220, I picked one up here and its not going anywhere! The price you stated seems more than fair (IMO)

Does it have night sights? That affects the value.

Also, they are not $1,000 new. If you pay that for a 220 even in stainless you paid too much unless it's an Equinox or one of their other specialty models.

For instance, I have a 220R with night sights, short reset trigger and 3 mags and couldn't sell it for $700 on here just last year. The gun is in like new condition.

I wouldn't pay over $600 for one that is not in like new condition. Great guns but not worth more than that.

If you know any dealers have them look it up in their used value book and go from there. Dealers typically look at what they pay wholesale for a new gun and offer 80% of that value as trade in on a used one.
