Guys behind the gun counters are getting tricky

There is a local store close to my home that I go to 2 or 3 times a week to try to get ammo when it hits the shelves. I try to get there 15 minutes early to be first in line just in case. Went by during lunch and was talking with the guy behind the counter. They didnt have any but he told me they got some on saturday. I told him I was there Saturday and was told nothing came on the truck. The employee told me that he lied to the 4 people (including myself) that were waiting on put the ammo out about 10 am......
He said that he was tired of seeing people reselling it or taking it to the guns shows.

So not only do the ammo gougers hurt everyone else by buyin up all of the ammo and reselling it for way more but now, even the times i actually could have bought ammo, i cant because the guys behind the counter are trying to avoid the gougers

There is really no difference between the gougers and the hoarders. Both have put an unnecessary strain on the system.

Your right, I gouged twice this week on ammo. The first time I bought 3 boxes of 22 for 10.80 and sold it for $11 and then I bought two boxes of 380 that I paid 69.xx and turned around and sold them fr $70! I'm a horrible person

Never said that! Roll them feeling sleeves up....Do you normally buy ammo to turn right around and sell it for a profit?

Whats the purpose of you selling it in the first place?

Not true.A true hoarder like myself had all the ammo he needed before all this crazy buying started.

I went into a local gun shop last week looking for a M&P Shield. They didn't have any, but the lady working the gun counter said she knew where one was for sale and asked if I wanted her to call for me. I said, "Sure". She asked me how much I wanted to pay for one. I said I'd need to see the gun first. She called another lady that works at the gun store that was the person that had this gun for sale. Lady 2 had apparently bought the gun the last time they got some in just so she could sell it at a higher price. She said she wanted $750 for it. I laughed - loud. I told her that the owner of the shop told me that he had some on order, and when they arrive they will be sold for $450-$500, so I wouldn't even consider paying $750. I can wait for the next shipment to get here.

But it appears that I'll have to get one quick before his employees buy them up just so they can flip them at ridiculous prices.

It think I would let the store owner know about this, sounds a little shady to me.

I was just told that a lady sporting goods manager at the Walmart n Porter was fired for doing "straw purchases" on all the ammo they got in and then reselling it. Hope it is true.
