I found a Panther .308 for $2500 with a Burris 6x20x50 is that a good deal? Gun is in excellent shape with 100 rounds thru it.

At today's prices that is probably about right.

Deal is such a loose and vague word.
as compared to the other ones found for more $$$ it could be considered a deal..
as compared to what its really worth, comparitively - before the great gouging of 2013 - deal isn't the four letter word some would choose to describe it.

The value of that rifle/scope combo is not $2500. If it is the best price you can find it for, and that is what you really want, then yes it is a deal.

That's about right for the crazy price people are paying. I would probably wait but I have 3 ar's can't say I would make the same decision if I didn't own one
