I'm wanting a new scope on my .270 and want one with bullet drop. Because Im wanting to try to shoot longer ranges. So as of now I'm torn between a Nikon pro staff 3-9x40 or 50. Or a 4-12x40. Or a bushnell trophy xlt with the bullet drop. Which would y'all decide?

What do you mean by longer range? 200-300yds, 500-600yds, etc.
If I had to choose between the two, I'd go with the prostaff with as much power as you can get. -

Your going about it a little wrong... BDC scopes don't match your actual bullet trajectory... you need a scope with reliable turrets..Comment

Sight in about 3 high at a hundred and you should be good all the way out to the three hundred you might have to aim a couple inches higher that's all. Should be close to dead on at 200Comment
