Why is Everyone buying 22LR?

22lr gun sales are through the roof too...I am surprised with the panic buying for this round as well.

There is no mention of any anti going after rimfire?? They have just created a sellers market for everything guns & ammo...gunshow was really entertaining.

Saw a guy throw down $100 for ONE brick of remmy 22 subsonic.

I'm not sure where I first got pointed to this, but they've had 1.4million hits on it. That's bound to create plenty of panic and they praise the 10/22. I think this sort of thing is likely the root of the 22lr rush.

Crazy thing is I got into Eley upper end match ammo a long time ago...to see folks paying the same price for ammo that won't whack quail in the noggin at 50 yards is weird for me to watch.

I am a rimfire junkie and this is creepy.

The rimfire ammo and gun market is fast right now & I would have thought folks would dump/sell it off to get glocks and AR's...too weird??

So, im reading unintended consequenses, thanks Chew! The storyline seems to be woven around henry bowman and his escapades while growing up in a climate of ever increasing restrictions. I take it the events with peoples' names are real people, and he is fictitious? I cant find anything on henry bowman when searchong, but my google fu sucks. What am i missing because the story wasnt anything like i expected, and still dont understand what it has to do with .22lr yet
