Meaning you must ship "to" an FFL but not "from" an FFL.
It is just like a person can ship a gun back to the factory for repairs or custom work without going through an FFL because the company has a license to do such work.

If its in Texas, and never crosses a state line you can ship it directly to the buyer.
What are you trying to sell?PM Me and you can ship it DIRECTLY to me

out of state- must go through ffl
In that forum we are not allowed to run auctions and bidding wars but can ask for a price. If it doesn't sell (which is typical) then the price is lowered until the seller gets a bite. In other words, it is an auction in reverse. Gun for $2,000. No buyers? Will you give me for $1,900? Still no buyers? How about $1,800 as a final offer or the gun will be kept? Yet still no buyers? Okay, one last lowering to $1,650..............
On gunbroker, it starts low and climbs to the max that someone is willing to pay out of (probably) hundreds of thousands of buyers.
I like buying in Classifieds and have gotten a few very nice items. If I wanted the max from a gun during these times, I might go gunbroker also.

can someone clarifyOriginally posted by cpr1979 View PostI've shipped a rifle in state via UPS. USPS I believe will not accept
If it crosses state lines it must go to an FFL:
Texas to Florida MUST go to FFL
Houston to Dallas NO FFL needed.
Handguns must be shipped UPS or Fedex. (go to the hub... the small stores by walmart wont accept.)
