Short video V-tac 9 shot drill

Well today I had a little time to run the new Vortex PST 1-4 x 30 through some slow paces and about 100 rounds..

Took me 4 rounds to zero, very quick and easy and later tonight I will install the zero shims that came with it so it can be adjusted and returned to zero easily.

I let the kids abuse it a bit and they liked it....

Then I may youngest daughter said she wanted a quick video of me running the v-tac 9 shot barricade drill...(improvised positions on 100 yd target/one hit from each position)

Sorry for the low quality video from a phone..

you know... if you would have just taken a step or two to the left those 9 shots would have been a LOT easier...

some people just like ice skating uphill I guess

That scope is pretty sweet though!

So by now you know I cant see the video till later tonight but I can see the pictures and now I have a newb question that for some reason I feel I should know but dont.
I didnt notice on your mounts earlier but now I see you have the QD levers on the left side. Is this a normal setup or just something you do?
Mines on the right but I dont get any ejection interference.
Im thinking now it should be on the left side so you can drop it without moving your trigger hand..

Its a normal setup for the Larue SPR mount...But I'm also cross dominaint Shoot handgun left handed and rifle right handed...and can switch from left to right with both..

When I get students in and they see it done then they themselves get to do it, it is a REAL eye opener about the facts that when bad things happen you dont get to stand there and shoot back like on the range..

It is a great tool to get students to THINK about what they are doing...and by the time we make it to the 9-shot drill they are also having to contend with magazine changes and malfunction drills.

Those are things I was working on before my home troubles, but I still try doing dry runs.
I saw your head lift peek once too
Looking right now into if I want to turn the levers on my mount to the right side or leave them..
Got to run Mikes brass to the P/O today too.
