It looks good with the Larue mount..
It there a noticeable weight differance in what you were using and this?
Yes its a big difference in weight.

Viper PST 1-4x30 mm 16.2 oz. plus mount weight

Aimpoint T-1 3 oz. plus mount weight..

Im expecting to see the weight effect my transition speeds between targets but only a minimal amount of time..

I just gave it a shake down on the issue that I was having...

I noticed that when I rotated the power turrent for the reticle it would flicker if I tapped it...

IT WAS END USER ERROR...when I set it to a certain power setting I was sometime just setting it on the edge of a setting and not getting it "clicked" directly into the setting so it would flicker if I tapped it..

As far as being a TRUE 1x it seems to be as advertised...

I was having a problem with a bit of halo around the edges of the optic but that was quickly fixed with a quick adjustment to the Reticle focus ring...

By looking at the pics it seems like it blocks your flip up sights?

Alot of them do, What I have right now is a Bushnell trophy thats a ACOG clone and it does it to. So I put it on a quick disconnect mount. Flip the lever and the scope can fall off and flip up your backups in a second.
A word of advise, practice flipping it off over something soft. Or be very fast

I have 2 of these scopes and one of mine does the same thing and one doesn't. Ironically the one that is a year old doesn't do it. The one I got in December does.

I have not had my hands on one of those yet, but being its a 1-6 x 24 leads me to believe it will be weak at low light operation periods, but it does have a electronic reticle, and being its a Swarovski product will no doubt have top notch glass..

I have a few things to do today and I will hit the range and drive it through a few drills and see how she does once a do a BZO..
