The cheap winchester xpert steel kills the ducks in our part of the state just as dead with a nice $12 price tag instead of the $25 of a premium duck load.Comment

That junk may work right over the decoys but patterns like crap past 25 yrds and is so inconsistent its not even funny. Lacks in down range power badly. When i switched to kent fast steel 3 in 1 3/8 oz #2 the ducks started crumpling. That with a patternmaster and you can take it to the bank out to 40 yrds cause either you kill or you flat out miss. There is no questioning the ammo. Unlike expert where you knock feathers out with 2 shells and they keep flying.Originally posted by westtexducks View Post

Oh, and the post was about the gun. Dont have any experience with it nor do i know anyone that does. If you fan swing a new Beretta or Benelli then do it cause those are really as good as it gets. Kind of personal preference as to which is better. IMHO Benelli is built a little better. Beretta's operating system allows for a little less recoil which is totally minimal and not noticeable when in a hunting situation.Comment

I assume you are asking about the sxp pump. I haven't messed with the waterfowl but I got to shoot the field grade(wood stock) a few weeks back and I liked it. Now I couldn't shoot 3 shots in .5 sec as advertised but it was nice and smooth.Originally posted by krtnorris View Post
