Won the Stoeger 3500

I won the Stoeger 3500 last night in the Ducks Unlimited dinner in Huntsville. Not bad in my eyes for a 700.00 dollar gun for a 50.00 dollar raffle ticket, but my question is how reliable is this shotgun, what are yalls thoughts on it? other than a free gun is a good gun? I was told that last night it is a junk gun and i should probably sell it because it has alot of failure to feed malfunctions?

I know a couple of guys that shoot them and love them. Uses the Benelli action without the Benelli cost.

NOOO i never said that it was for sale, just that they said i should sell it LOL.... i was seriously about to buy the Bennelli Super Venci yesterday. Sure glad i didnt. There was several guns on the table Glock,Savage .308, Remington 700 in .308, and a few other guns. I had my eyes on a Beretta 12 Ga but the guy before me snagged it up before i could stumble to the table

They may use a benelli action but nothing else about that gun is benelli. it jams ALOT. If you hunt waterfowl alot spend the money on a top of the line autoloader or stick with a pump. A mid range semi-auto will jam on you frequently.

Bought one this year to duck hunt with it shoots the 3" or 3 1/2" shells flawless but have had mine jam several times dove hunting shooting the 2 3/4" but overall I like mine my brother has the benelli and mine shoots just as good.
