22shells Gander Mountain

I went out to gander Mountain on 290 @Hwy6 tonight to see if they had the 22 LR shells in yesterdays sales add. Asked the sales man if they had any. He replied" sale started yesterday , sold out 10 minutes after we opened". I guess they were not prepared for the people who don't work all day. I can't believe they would have a sale with not enough merchandise to cover at least 2 days of the sale. Almost like the bate and switch at most car dealerships. Had a bad experience last year with another product, it seems like what they have on sale is either sold out or non existant, or rotten. I told Trophy7 when we walked out I figured that tonight would be my last time to have to walk out of Gander. I will never go back.

With the stupid craze and vultures buying up everything that will load in an AR platform, you need to get upxearly or camp out the night before at some locations to get anything. This sint a store problem. This is a supply chain problem, meaning too much demand and the supply chain cant keep up.v

Any ammo that 9mm, 22LR, or 223/5.56 will not stay on shelves a day. Especially if the vendor isn't limiting quantities.

Not Gander Mountains fault. There is hysteria right now. Its like buying gas after a hurricane, you just can't expect them to be able to stock and receive that much ammo at one time. I went to the Gander in Sugar Land this morning and bought the 6 remaining boxes of Remington Accutip .22 wmr.

Yup. Not the stores fault one bit. No different than black Friday or when a new iPhone is released. I'm lucky I have a buddy who is a mgr at a wal mart. Today I got 200 rounds federal .223 and 200 rounds of .40 cal @ his 10% discount.

I was at Bass Pro in Katy yesterday. Sais they got 17 Ar's in a few days ago sold out in 2 hours. Same guys camp at the door every day. Sais the same thing happens with ammo.
