Yes I really like the Pro2000. It is one well built machine. The APP priming system is very easy and reliable to use once you get the hang of reloading the app strips. I will purchase a second one some day.

I load 45 ACP almost exclusively on it, but it is very easy to change calibers and switch from large to small primers.

I had some problems with the RCBS 45 ACP Carbide dies. I never could get them set up to run 100%. I would always have around 2 - 4 % that would not pass the case gauge test. Most of those rounds would chamber and shoot fine but I still did not like it. I switched to Lee carbide dies with the factory crimp die and have not had one problem so far. I'm going on around 3,000 rounds with the Lee dies and couldn't be happier.

Save yourself some trouble and forget the RCBS press. Buy yourself a Forester Co-Ax press and be done with it. I used a RCBS for about 30 yrs until Forester invented the Co-Ax. I know of no one that has ever used a Co-Ax that said they would ever go back to what they used before. There are several threads @ www.accurateshooter.com that can fill you in on the how and why.

i would avoid the Lee brand for anything. they only offer a 2 year warranty, and others a lifetime. RCBS has excellent customer service.

I use foster dies. They cost but are worth the extra $$$.

I am new to reloading as well and was wondering what dies you recommend for 308, 300 win mag, 300 blk out, 7mm mag. I looked at midway and Natchez but was sure which ones to get.
