Next time I take it and shoot it I will picture it. I have no idea ont the floating of the barrel like I said this is my first year of really getting into shooting. I will get a dollar bill and check it. It was a little breezy the time we went and shot but I didnt think it would be enough to move it but like I said Im new so what do I know lol. Thanks for all the help its greatly appreciated.

It could be a number of things but what I would do first is when you go out and shoot next time, only shoot 3 rounds and then take a break for about 10 min and let your barrel cool all the way off. Then shoot another 3 and see if bullet impact moves. If it does then start figuring out if its a pressure point in the stock, dirty barrel, doesnt like ammo, exc. If you can shoof the groups at 2 diff targets that will also help determine each set of groups apart. Most common thing ive seen at the gun range is people dont realize there barrel is startingb to get warm and it changes POI.

I agree it could definatly be your base and/or ring screws being loose. I would take them down, clean the screws and holes with alcohol then remount everything with some Blue loctite. Make sure its snug but be careful to not overtighten esp if you have alluminum rings. You can strip the threads pretty easily.

Well last night I broke the gun down and I don't think there was a tight screw on it and today I went and bought some leupold ring gonna install those and then when I'm able to find some ammo I will try it again. I noticed one side of the barrel was resting on the stock but after tightening everything it seems to be centered.
