I picked up a new rifle tonight. Been looking for a good all around rifle that isn't as much as my 300 win to shoot and that my GF can shoot. I was wanting a 243 but they didn't have any so I ended up with a ruger American 270. The gun feels really good and it seems to have a great trigger in it too. What are some good rounds to shoot?

270 is about the only ammo setting on the shelf at Wally world. Try the federal power shocks btsp first... Should be around 18 bucks a box.Comment

I shoot Remington core lokt 130gr and hornady sst 130gr. Both shoot great.Comment
