    I love my Redfield 4-12x40 with accu???? (by the way made by leupold) and love my vortex 4-16x50. Seriously consider the redfield though if you are on a budget. $200-220.

    Nikon - no thanks. I personally dont like the reticles and have heard more bad than good.

    Vortex Viper $500

    Leuold makes a good scope but a bitoverpriced these days when you have redfield and vortex

        I have the higher end leupold and Nikon. I will take the Nikon all day long.

          Me too.. Unless you move up a grade or two on the Leopold the monarch will be better.. The vx2 is closer to the buckmaster series to me .. You should look hard at the lines from Vortex as well, they may have the best quality for the price range you're in.
