Ultrasonic case cleaners

    I have the Lyman 2500. It cleans very well but does not polish at all. It cleans the primer pockets very well.

    I usually ultrasonic mine and let them dry and then throw in the tumbler for a light polish.

      Well an older guy that reloads said to use a dry media to clean your brass. I now I see yall are talking wet. I asked when I was on my phone but I was just watching some youtube videos to try and get a better understanding of what to do.

      This guy was using this method with walnut shells and car polish.


      Then this guy was using a wet method such as this.

      I was just curious is this a single step and if so is wet or dry better and why?

      Also do you remove your primer first and then clean or do you clean and then remove the primer? Advantages/disadvantages?

        Thumbler Tumbler does the best job I've ever seen.

        Polishes the brass inside and out, including primer pockets

        Dries spot free.

        Stainless steel pins as media, dish soap and Lemishine for cleaning agent.

        My buddy bought one a few months back, and it really is as miraculous as the claims.
