Ar15 is bottom of the list for quality and dependability. Ar10is on the other wnd of the spectrum.

Middle of the road I think. Not the best. Not the worst. A lot of law enforcement use them.

Hmmm, been running a DPMS for several thousand rounds with no issues. I like mine.

I had one. Never had a problem with it what so ever. It was a great shooting, dependable rifle. But I also have an Olympic arms that everyone bashes. And guess what? Very accurate and very dependable too.

Well, that's good. I must attract crappy rifles. Had a Bushy that had problems too, I got that one fixed and gave it to a wounded warrior.

I have three DPMS and never had a problem out of any of them.

I was at my range yesterday, gentleman next to me was sighting in a new DPMS .308... Every 5-8 rounds, it would not feed, damaging round, not ejecting spent round, etc. I ask what ammo he was shooting, he had various brands.

Not sure what was causing his feed problems, he had 3 different clips, all were causing problems.

Thanks for the info. I've found new on the shelf for $859. Thats is MSRP, but at least I'm not being gouged
