I like the Glocks. I carry a 27 everyday. I know price is a factor, but remember this is a item that you, your wife and family may possible trust your life in if a bad situation happens. Take your time, touch, feel and shoot if possible. Don't count out revolvers, Revolvers don't hold as many shells but typically they are a lot more dependable for someone that is not shooting and cleaning a semi auto regularly.
