What load are you running in the RUM? We are having no luck on 200AB for deer out to 800. Seems to be poking holes. Thinking about going back to 180 Swift.
This old bolt gun means a lot to me. It's a WWII Japanese Type 99 Ariska short rifle rounded up by Grandfather during a Japanese surrender on an island in the Pacific during the end of WWII. The Japanese sword was also part of the surrender offering, from the Commanding officer of the island base, both weapons where his personal issue.
Here's that scene, during the surrender, photographed by one of Grandpa's crewmen. He's down there conducting the surrender negations.
Very cool Rob...Very cool. Your family has awesome history. My godmothers husband was in a battle on Sai Pan and he brought home a Sword also. His son has it to this day. The clan/family the sword was made for is usually on the tang. What am I am telling you for? I am sure you know all that Too bad war capture is not allowed for our soldiers today.
