What's a good scope for a .22?

I've got a Marlin .22 rifle for the kids. What scope what be a good choice for this little rifle?

I have a BSA sweet .22 never had any problems with it.

My sons and I run the BSA Sweet 22's on all of our rifles, 4 total. 1 is 2-7x32, 2 are 3-9x40 and 1 6-18x40. All have performed very well, no loss of adjustments, etc. The 2-7x32 is at least 7 years old, and has been through 3 moves to include the cross country move to here. Still at the same zero. I like them enough that I keep a couple extras just in case a 22 finds its way here. SWFA or Natchez Shooting Supply usually run pretty good sales on them.

sweet .22 is great,cheap and spot on....dont last forever but perfect for plicking and squirrel hunting

I have a sweet 22 on my bolt gun and have never had any issues with it

My old Marlin has a Bushnell Banner on it for the last 25 years.

I have just a basic Simmons .22 mag scope. Nothing awesome but it works.

Cheap 100 bushnell from academy is what we have on ours little marlin.
