have yall seen the Burris scope mounts that have a picatinny upper half? what kind of sight could i mount on it .

Offset sights are sights that sit at a 45 degree angle off the upper and front rail. A normal iron sight won't co witness on a setup like I have on my DD AR with a Burris PEPR mount and scope.

The mount you are talking about is one like on my DD pictured above. It's the Burris PEPR mount and comes with two sets of rings. One set is your standard smooth ring top piece and the other has a picatinny mount. Those are typically for a small red dot sight or light
