I'm certain that it is good ammo, but you can find similar for far less. Academy lowered the prices on it the other day, but apparently not enough, as they had a lot of it.

I ran a box through my kids 243 (Rem 700) while back when it was all that could be found. It performed very well. It was much better than the Hornady superformance but that stuff is bad. I would use the TN again if necessary.

I bought a box of .270 130gr TSX a week or two ago. I used it to sight in my Winchester model 70 featherweight. It shot VERY VERY WELL!!
After the rifle was dialed in it shot 2 three shot groups at 100 yards and had at worst a 3/4'' 3 shot group both times.
How it does on game, I have no idea. I assume very well with the TSX bullets. I will be using it on red deer hein's next weekend and will try to remember to give an update

I have shoot them out of my 243. Awesome ammo. I am down to one bullet. I have shot several critters with them and have not lost a single one. None have made it further the 10 yrds actually. Deer, hogs, coyote. Even my buddy knocked down a deer with a less than perfect shot

I've got prolly 10 boxes I shoot it through my 300 win. I got a really good deal on it.

I've been very happy with it. I shoot it right along with the barnes vortex ammo. No poi shift or anything.

I load my own also but what I paid for them it was we'll worth it and the vortex ammo I bought

They're awful proud of it. It was practically all that was left on the shelves @ Academy a couple of weeks ago.

I noticed that also. It was the only 30-30 ammo at that time, but I wasn't that desperate.

I bought two boxes today, one in .270 and one in .308. Both have the TTSX bullet.

It is accurate in my dad's 243 and it was a good performer on the few deer he's shot with it. Not much more $$ than other Barnes bullet ammo.

Runs well and accurate out of my 10mm. I keep my back up mag stoked with it while hog hunting on public land. I prefer my handloads though. Found a good deal on them at academy when ammo was/still is scarce for that caliber
