Colt AR leaving a dimple on the next round.

Would like to get some opinions on this.
When I fire a round from my Colt LE 6920 i have noticed the next round has a small dimple on the primer. It hasn't caused any problems or double taps but I am wondering if i should be concerned. Is this normal? Will the firing pin wear a little and not keep doing it.
    Should i change it out?

    Thanks

I think it is normal. This same thing happens on my AR-15

It is normal. The firing pin floats in the bolt so it moves forward when the bolt closes.

Yep, firing pin is free floating.

I'm not sure on an AR, but I had a NM M1 while I was on the marksmanship team in the early 90's, it would also leave a dimple, and it would double depending on the ammo. A slamfire usually happens when you least expect it, and when it's least desireable.

Common my RRa does same thing. It'll do it also when closing the bolt on a round. Not just when fired.
