    Old gun opinions/experts

I have an older gun (mauser style) and I'm unsure what I have really.
I took it to the range today and shot it and I wanted to see if anyone knew what it is, and get an estimated value on the gun.
I have an idea what it is, but would like to see what it's worth more than anything else.
    Thanks

That's what I was thinking, but was told today that its not a Yugoslavian....And I was told, "That's not a replica!" Which would make it Belgian if I'm not mistaken, and was hoping someone here would confirm or deny it.

The best way to identify it is to google the markings. Look for proof stamping on bolt and receiver. Measure the receiver ring (where the barrel screws in) and determine if it is a small ring or large ring model. I am no expert but if you google Mauser Rifles you should be able to get some idea of orgin and model.

I've been googling all day. Can't find anything that looks identical.
I do have matching #s on my bolt and receiver. (898) I think.

Well, I got to reading his post in the link you provided, and it looked as if he was unsure of what it was too. Is it possible that I have a rare gun? I can't find the markings anywhere else other than that link and he wasn't sure what he had. And his was obviously a replica bc it looked brand new.
