Walmart Ammo

I called the local walmart today and asked what ammo they had in stock. Clerk told me the warehouse was out and they put a freeze on all new orders

Idk about the warehouse being empty but that did suspend ammo orders until Osama made his announcement. That's from head office.

cornfirmed via multiple locations...all quantity ordered by stores have been zero'd out...they will not know if/when anything is coming until it shows on the trucks...corporate is going to decide what and when...yeah....that's what I was told at multiple locations.

anyone know if any of the dictatorial mandates have anything to do with actual ammo production/cost?

someone should go back and read what the op posted, what I posted and then what they themselves posted....

The 'crap' as you put it that is being spread says the same thing you posted....

sheesh...

in the past, when I talked with the department manager, I would ask her to order this or that, she would scan in a barcode on the empty shelf, see if some were on order, any in warehouse and if none on order, she would order...now, it's all up to corporate...they are 'spreading the wealth' at their own discretion...which is not the way it transpired before...

Somehow they are always out of stock when I show up. I gave up and went to academy. Price is reasonable. I have started to purchase a couple of boxes each week as the pay check allows.
