Academy in Beaumont sold over $10,000 in ammo in the first 30 min they were open this morning. People were lining up to get in at 4:30am. Crazy.

That is insanity. I am sure that is why the Executive Orders turned out not to have much bite in them today and only making statements. Could be a lot that won't want to turn in their ammo or weapons.

In about 365 days...that is what most ammo mfg are saying about back orders.

Biggest problem with this issue is for the guys who shoot specific rounds that are not being cranked out 24/7 right now.

A lot of the same tooling that makes 5.56 & 308 ammo also makes the 222 & 7-08, etc.

The mfg are going to make what is going to sell and it's easier to let the tooling run for a certain cartridge than do a change over for smaller runs.

            Just my opinion after today...

So I don't need to take back my kid's Christmas presents so I can buy ammo to bury in the backyard? The kids are gonna be happy with that

It sure is good thing that we are BOWHUNTERS and don't need lead and gunpowder to hunt!

If the EPA bans lead can we afford bullets?

Great way to get around the constitution.

Just read on Drudge Report that some PD's are having difficulty obtaining ammo.

conviently...US Govt is there to save the day since they've been buying billions of rounds.

Obama can just send in the troops if PD can't do their job. How convenient.

...for our own safety, of course...
