    Ruger SR9c?

Anyone have one? Looking for opinions on them.

I bought one for my wife. She loves it. Very reliable. The thing I like the best about it is you get the full size mag and extension with the compact model and you basically have the full size SR9

My wife has one, and I really like it. With the full sized mag and extension, it fits me good, with the compact mag, it fits her good. Very accurate.

          Ruger SR9c?

I have one I'm gonna use for cc. Much more accurate than I thought it would be and a breeze to carry

I have one... it shot really well at first...Very impressed with the accuracy of the gun...I think I went through like 500 rounds without any hiccups...I cleaned it...oiled her up and shot her again this weekend ... and she was jamming up and not cycling the rounds properly...had quite a bit of problems...will be cleaning again and going back to the range to see if this continues. I was shooting 115 gr. Remington UMC rounds this weekend. I will try a better ammo the next time. I shot the same ammo in .40 cal in my Beretta 96A1 and H&K USP Compact and no problems, so go figure...I have had my H&K the longest and honestly...it has NEVER jammed in any way...it will shoot anything you put in it!!! Period!!! The 96A1 I just got that as a B-Day gift for myself this weekend...but no problems there either.

Also...one of the gun smiths at one of my local shooting ranges told me they were having issues with them...but I'm still staying positive until I go and shoot her again...If the same issues continue...she is being traded in and an H&K is coming home instead!

My wife and I had problems with the UMC ammo. We switched to fed and win white boxes and it has functioned flawlessly since. Just a suggestion.

I'm thinking that it was the ammo also...I will be trying better ammo next time but I will not try the Win. White box...has lots of bad rounds the last time I purchased it. Its frustraiting when the wife is practicing shooting and it keeps jamming...and of course it starts to cause little thoughts of doubt when it happens as far as carrying it for personal protection is concerned...but like I said...I'm gonna keep my hopes up that it was just crap ammo.

I have the SR40c and LOVE it! Great pistols. It has shot everything I have put through it, but I do not buy cheap/bulk ammo. Not talking bad about people who do, I just have never had good luck with it in any gun.

Bought one for the wife and love it. (she won't let me carry it though) We have had two malfunctions, jammed while ejecting fired case, related directly to holding to loosely. The pistol is so light that you have to have a firm grip to get a reliable function. The first malfunction was the second trigger pull. She was scared it would recoil too much on the first round and held on tightly. The second she was comfortable and it jammed. I fired 2 rounds with no problem and handed it back to her. It promptly jammed on first round, but I was watching her grip and we fixed the problem. Hasn't malfunctioned since.

                              Looking for SR40 c now.
