Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56. Turrets have 80 MOA of travel plus 20 on the NPR1 reticle. You can go a lot further then 1000. I have nightforce on both my long range guns!

It looks like I'm going to buy Leupold Mark 4's 8.5-25X50mm. Anyone got reviews on those? What would they compare to when compared to a night force, or zeiss??

With that much magnification I hope long range is all you're gonna shoot.

From personal experience, glass is probably on par with the Zeiss and inferior by a lot to Swarovski. I can't speak from personal experience with Nightforce but everything I read on them has been good, at least from a build quality standpoint.

Good choice. If my vxiii LR had a different reticle it would be perfect. The turrets are awsome. Fantastic glass.

I have not done it in three or four years but Leupold will change your reticle and it is very reasonable (from memory).

I agree that Swarovski is a quality built scope. They have good customer service too. I hunting buddy of mine has a few of them. One if his broke, he sent it in, they fixed it for free and sent it back to him. No problems. It may just be my eyes though where every Swarovski I've looked through didn't seem as clear as other Zeiss scopes. I've looked through the Leica glass too and I'm not impressed for the money they cost. Like I said though, it may just be my eyes.

MARCH scopes are made by the DEON Optical Design Corporation in Japan

a friend of mine, Turk Takano helped design the MARCH scopes which were first used in benchrest back in 1995 ??

DEON recently expanded their optics to LR scopes with more variable magnification
