Oh. For sure. But.. Need never came into the equation. No one really needs a new gun.. But... who wants an incomplete collection of anything.

I’ve “been in the market” for a 17 Hornet or 17 Remington for the better part of a decade. Unfortunately I can’t bring myself to pay what the CZ 527s are going for these days, and those are the only real options I’d consider besides a full custom build. I haven’t brought myself to that point yet, but I did build “my boys” a full custom 17 WSM on a RimX action and Manners Night Stalker so I’ve been known to do some dumb when it comes to the pea shooters haha

Have .300 WM, .270 Win, 6.5 CM, 6.5 Grendel, .223/5.56, .30 carbine, .22lr, 9.3x62, .404 Jeffery, 9mm, .357/.38spl, .45 ACP, and 12 gauge.

Next custom looking hard at either a fast twist quarter bore, likely .25 Creedmoor or one of the new 7mms of some flavor. Next vintage purchase is going to be either a 450/400 3" Nitro Express or a 450 Nitro Express.
