    S&W FPC

Well, the 10mm FPC is out.. and they fixed allot of the problems from the original... except now , no one can afford to shoot it .. 10 mil isn't exactly plinking ammo.

So i'm gonna stick to mine in 9mm .. i think it's just fine considering ammo capabilities nowadays with 9mm ..

speaking of .. I loaded some 68 gr lehigh defense Xtreme defense... cfe pistol ... chronoed right at 2000ft/s ... that's almost 600ft/lb of energy and no perceptible drop to 100 yards.

did a quick video on the rifle this weekend ... I think as a truck gun , it's a good option, with a few cons as noted in the video.

I bought the same one you got. Got it for a travel gun. Finally got to shoot it back in December and wasn’t real happy with it. I don’t reload so I was shooting factory ammo and didn’t get the groups I thought it should be able to get. Haven’t made up my mind on what I’m going to do with it now. I just stuck it back in the safe for now.

I loaded some 90 gr xtp , those went around 1700fp/s and were the ones really accurate and still close to 600ft/lb of energy... I happened to have found pics on my phone ... the 68gr opened up quite a bit more but i don't expect those bullet to be that accurate anyways.. hornady xtp's always seem to be really consistent no matter what..
that's a 1" orange dot BTW... so that group is around 1" at 100 yards ... and again with a 1x prism all I did was put the chevron on the orange dot and pulled the trigger , i had no idea it shot that well till I went downrange...
If i was you , i'd try different ammo first ... i'd expect ball ammo to be the worse and maybe quality made ammo to do way better .. some gold dot's maybe ?

BTW , this was shot with a can on , that may also help the harmonics ... or maybe I just got lucky with my handloads....

I just picked one up in 9mm a couple weeks ago for truck gun and I'm liking it so far.
