    Kydex IWB

I like kydex holsters with their adjustable and positive retention, but they are not always comfortable. If you are……uh…..chunky, there always seems to be a place on them that pinches or chafes if you do any contortionist moves. So, I decided to do this little addition. I have to admit that it was not an original idea, I had it when I ordered a new We the People IWB holster for my Rost Martin1c. An add on was a foam backer for the holster, I thought that it was a good idea so I added it. When the package got here I saw that the foam backer was too thick for me so I sent it back. I immediately got on Amazon and found a roll of adhesive backed thin closed cell foam that I thought would work. This is the result, we’ll see if it holds up and works as expected.

BTW, check out the Rost Martin pistols if you haven’t. Made in Dallas. They get excellent reviews, are inexpensive, and mine have ran flawlessly. Feel great in my hand, much better than Glocks. If they ever make a 10mm, my G20 will be on the market ! Click image for larger version

Wonder how it will do with sweat? I love We The People holsters. So simple, yet effective.

I could see that foam becoming a sponge.

Only thing I will use now is leather holsters. I also wear undershirts, so never holster on skin contact

I have Alien Gear and no rub with Kore belt. Looked at those pistols and glad to be made here. I'm not a striker fire guy still like my thumb safety and if I want striker fire I can carry with safety off but I'm old school. and it's not always holstered.
