Crazy Accuracy out of new Browning X-bolt 2

I bought a new rifle for me for the first time in 35 years. I wanted something I could hunt 99% of game animals and exotics in the US with. I decided on a Browning X-bolt 2 speed spr with a 20” barrel chambered in 6.8 Western. Had a day off today so I asked my wife if she wanted to go shoot. Her answer was hail yes. I bought her and my daughter Weatherby Camilla’s chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor a couple years back. All 3 rifles are shot suppressed. After old-school bore sighting (take the bolt out and line up the barrel with the target then adjust scope, I was finally able to try out the three different types of ammo I was hoping would shoot well. She doesn’t care for the 162 gr Winchester Copper Impact with grouping at 1-1/2 inches but she LOVES the Browning 175 Gr sierra tipped Gamekings. After sighting in, I put the last 5 shots into less than 1/2” at 100 yards off a bench using a bipod and sandbags. My wife even finished off with a great 3-shot group to end the day.

          That’s awesome!

My brother in law bought a X-bolt when they were on clearance just before the X-bolt 2 came out. It’s a western hunter in 6.5prc and shot multiple factory ammunition offerings into tiny little groups.

Another buddy got a max long range in 7prc and it shoots phenomenally as well.

Nice shoot-n Sackett! So, your say-n the Browning rifle likes the Browning ammo?

I've often wondered if some rifle makers, that make ammo, set the loads up for their own rifles. I have 2 Winny 70s' that likes a lot of the factory Winchester 150gr loads they make.

The A/X Bolts have always been great shooters.
