I use anti-seize on everything threaded. Barrel threads, hub adapters, end caps

I would think muzzleloader breech plug lube should work good.

I just use lipgloss because it’s what I have handy.
keep an eye on the end cap, depending on how you’re hauling it as I found mine loose last year after hauling around in my sxs roof top mount.

Opinions are all over the place on it looking it up......there is one company that sells some commercial stuff and repackages it. Not as nasty and goes a long way and very good reviews going to go that route. Everything else sounded like a total mess, high temp grease which is nasty to mess with plus others......it's like $7 plus shipping.

Just a dab of anti-seize on the quick detach threads. Been working for a good while.

I use the loctite brand anti seize. It’s in a stick easy to use.

I use muzzleloader breech plug grease as Walker suggested because I have it on hand.

I have anti seize, but as somehow as soon as I open the can I look like the Tin Man, so I stay with the less messy grease.

that's what I'm avoiding with the stuff I'm ordering, you aren't only one I've read like that.

I find that even using anti seize, I cannot remove the end caps on my AAC Prodigy in 22lr for cleaning by hand. I am waiting on end cap wrenches to open the can up.

as much as they cost I don't want to screw anything up on it.
