Which new cartridge with Ar-15 upper

I stripped an upper that I have not shot for years. I currently have .300 blk, 5.56, 7.62x39 and 6.5 Grendel. What next?

Depends on what you're wanting to do with it. If you're gonna be shooting deer, pigs and varmints I'd get a 6ARC or .224 Valkryie.

Sounds like you have your basis covered, so why not something fun and cheap(ish) to shoot? You could go .22LR or do a RDB 9mm conversion from CMMG.

if you go this route the only barrel I recommend is an ARPerformance which are now sold by blackstone armory. I'm shooting a 90gr gold dot reload out of an older 14.3" ARP barrel 2900fps. That's some good ballistics.

I have an ARP barrel on what I call my “night” gun and an AR Stoner on my “day” gun. Both of them shoot a 115 grain Federal Fusion very well, and both were rebarreled from .223/5.56. The 6.8 is just a good cartridge !

i would likely choose the 6mm arc,,,, or a 10mm upper
