    Who shoots a Sig Cross

Ideally in .308? I procured one yesterday and hope to get it out in the next week or so. My primary intent was for something compact enough that when shot suppressed it was easy to maneuver inside a popup or box blind, the folding stock is handy as heck as well.

My initial loads are going to be 168 ELDMs over Varget as its worked well with other 168s in previous rifles.

For those that have one, what are your impressions on it after spending some range time?

One thing I will say is Sig packed enough grease inside the action and trigger assembly to resemble a Diddy party.

I have one in 308 and it does exactly what you’re looking for. Compact and relatively light suppressed. My kids use it more than I do but they are accurate rifles. My 14 y/o daughter calls it her gun.

I've been eyeing one in 6.5 CM for the exact reason you mentioned. Short, compact backpack rifle easy to maneuver and fun to shoot. Could you weigh yours after you have it set up and tell me the weight, please? Bare rifle is fine as well. I know what the books say, but all my rifles tend to weigh more than claimed. Lol

I want one pretty badly. It would be a great hunting rifle in my opinion. 165gr accubonds around 2700fps will kill way beyond its measure.

Dont have a cross but have a Custom .308 in XLR Chassis with 18" barrel. I have been shooting 165 and 168s out of it getting 2587-2700 fps. Looking for a lighter faster bullet to get some more velocity. Id loved a factory load in 155 ELDM but cant seem to find one.

It’s not bare, but 9.8lbs as it sits. These are just some extras I had around to rig it up for now.

            Burris Veracity 3-15x50
            Burris PEPR mount
            Magpul bipod
            Empty Mag

I've got a Sig Tread AR-10 .308. It's heavier but I actually prefer that for my use, I'm not going to be lugging it around a bunch.......does have extendable stock, came with grip on fore end but figured out quickly that was just in the way and will put it on smaller AR 15. Ordered cheaper "M-Lok" sling swivels off Amazon much cheaper than M-lok brands and worked great with great reviews. I put Sig Tango on it too. Rifle was around $1400 and Tango was $400 I think.....got both at Past and Blast in Whitesboro, traded in M1A on it too. I've always felt good about the guns we've gotten there, prices and trades, saved on tax difference no trade in so made the trade worth it to me. Tread is Coyote and Black.

If you can find any PowerPro 2200mr that grouped and had the best velocity in my 308 with the same 168gr ELD-M's. Sending them 2750fps out of a 20" proof barrel.
