    Sierra game changer/ TGK opinion

    I found a sale on .270win 140gr game changer for $15 per box x 10 boxes
any positive feedback on these bullets on game , they shouldn’t have any problems with deer , im thinking exotic or elk or
    some thing

Just bought 10 more boxes. No idea how they do on game. I should be sighted in by end of the week.

Based on everything I’ve read, I’m going to take a wild guess and say if I shoulder shoot, it’s going to pass through and through, lots of destruction, and a hell of a blood trail.

    Hopefully I can update soon.

I have no experience with the .264 TGK. But I do have experience with other the .308, and .284. They have performed just fine on pigs and whitetail. I shoot the 125gr 30cal TGK in my 300blk. Load the 165gr TGK in a buddies 30-06 and the 150gr in my cousins 7mag. Any animal we have shot with them, the bullet has performed as it should. It’s not a bonded bullet, but it seems to hold up fine.

I shoot the regular gamekings, both soft point and HPBT, in a variety of calibers and they are fantastic performers. Still a cup and core bullet, so don’t expect bonded performance but they hold together well in my experience.

Wife shot a buck through the shoulders with the TGK last week. The buck dropped and bullet exited fine with less meat loss than I anticipated. No issues here. 6.5CM

I’ve used them in my 6.5CM for a couple of years and they have worked flawlessly. They group tight and have been a hammer on deer, hogs and coyotes.

They have shot well in the few guns I've loaded them for. Buddy killed an elk this year with a 308 and 165 TGK without issues.
