Try heavier or boat tail bullets.

Which model do you have? The standard or the Predator? You are talking about a suppressor, so I’m assuming the Predator?

My Predator will send 5 shots into a nice tidy hole. The heavier barrel helps with that compared to the standard models thinner profile barrel.

It does fine for 5, but I’ve never gone past that to see where groups start opening up due to heat. It’s a hunting rifle though, so it never really sees 3+ shots in a row except for at the range.

I had two of those in 308 (shame on me).

I got fed up with plastic mag problems and it only liked 165gr

^^ What i came here to say. I bought boxes of Federals and Hornady during testing but found it likes Core-Lokt 150s the best. Shooting cloverleafs at 100yds.

A friend of mine remounted the scope Saturday and I bought different ammo (Rem Core Lokd tipped). Started all over yesterday. All was well until about shot 5. Started floating higher after every shot.

Kicked back and let it cool 10-15 minutes between shots and it started drilling tacks. Mystery solved!

Grandson saved his lawn mowing money one summer to buy a deer rifle. That fall i bought the standard Ruger american for him. We mounted a Leupold 3x9 and took it to the range. Remington corlok 150g made a clover leaf groups. I was very impressed with it's accuracy.
