holosun 407 green dot ran out of "UP" adjustment

As topic says all the way adjusted and still hitting low on SW equalizer 9mm, my luck 6 days out of return and first day to use it since pistol it was going on was at SW for warranty repair. I didn't care for it much anyway prefer regular sights but want bright ones now. Oh well money down the drain unless I can sell it, my first and last expensive experiment with dots on pistols. Said "factory set at approx 25 yds" but was hitting in dirt in front of 55 gallon drum and target was over halfway up drum from 20 yds. Got it within 8-9 inches low and that was it. Will contact Holosun but not sure how that will go.......

I'm going to try shims on rear of sight, had to do that to a night scope on one rifle.

Shims was what I was going to recommend if they won’t replace it. I have several red dot reflex sights and all of them have been very close to zero. In fact, I’ve had to bench rest them to really tell if they if they are off. Good luck !

I've read others with same issue and they actually sell shims for them. Daughters fiance is one of top shooters at Denton PD and he was surprised and mentioned shims although he didn't need on his but different pistol and sight than mine. With so many rifles and pistols out there it's impossible for them to all sight perfectly right out of box. Had to do this to Photon XT on rifle, it sits so tall had to shim back ring to get it down enough, used thin aluminum from beer can for that one....
