    Ar scope mount options .

So I’m putting together my first Ar. The upper should be here this week . Looking for scope rings . Have no clue what I need . Will any rings work ? I got a 3x12x44 mm vortex I will be using . Gun is 350 legend .

You probably want some kind of cantilever mount to raise the scope higher than a normal rifle.

I just put this one on my 300 blk with a vortex diamonback 3x9x40. It's not high-end but seems to work well.

I too run the Burris PEPR cantilever mount. Mine is the QD version, and it would actually hold zero if I removed it to run my Eotech and then swapped back to the scope(always putting it back in the correct slot in the rail).

The Burris is around $100. A buddy of mine has a Monstrum brand cantilever mount off Amazon. He says for the price($30) it does its job just fine.

Check out the Monstrum mounts on Amazon. I've bought 3 and very solid mounts. Very inexpensive as well.

If you're willing to lap those monstrums they look pretty good.

This. I use Monstrum rings, mounts etc and have never had an issue. Great stuff for the money.
