budget trigger upgrade for AR15 platform

I have a PSA AR15 with the standard Milspec trigger. I'm looking to upgrade, but I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on it. Does anyone have any recommendations of certain brands that they personally use and how well it functions?

You'd be hard pressed to beat this deal. https://www.texasbowhunter.com/discu...l-flat-trigger

You can get JP Enterprises reduced power trigger springs for ~$10 which will drop your trigger weight to about 4lbs if you don't want to pay for a drop in trigger.

LaRue MBT-2S. You can get one for $100 on Primary Arms' website.

I have a CMC drop-in. PSA has several CMC triggers to choose from. I got just about the cheapest CMC from them. 3.5 lb, single stage, flat blade and I love it . Almost no takeup, light spring, crisp break. Was a little over $200 but that was a few yrs ago.
Cheapest way to go would be to do a little polishing and a lighter spring.

              Around $100: Laure MBT-2

Over $100: Wait for a Geissele sale. Primary Arms has SSA-E's on sale for $160 right now.

PSA will prob have a sale on the CMC trigger this weekend for $100. All I have in my AR's and work perfectly. Great triggers for the money.

I have a few of the dirt cheap drop in triggers bought from gunbroker. They run great in anything but 7.62x39 using steel case ammo. Light primer hits on those. Range toys, pig rifle, or just fooling around guns, no problem. I wouldn't risk them in a serious hunting for trophy animals or duty use rifle though.

The CMC 3.5 lbs triggers can be had for $99 regularly, I just bought a second one a couple months ago. Very good trigger IMO. I sent the LaRue MBT back for a refund.

Check out ballistic Engineering. Best single stage in my opinion. Zero take up, Zero over travel.

Rave 140 from AR15discounts.com is what I run on my suppressed rig with a big scope. It’ll shoot tacks out to 300.

The CMC is great, I put one on my AR15 and will be going to the 3.5 lb for my AR10.
