CVA 35 Whelen chamber

New rifle. Just decided to put it together. Was going to clean and saw this. What is it bad steel, bad reamer. Stops at the case neck. I have videos but can’t get them to load.

I would send it back to the Factory. I have a CVA Hunter and I can't believe QA let that go out the Factory.
My 44 Mag shoots 2-3"groups at 100 yards ..
