Gun range in rifle or meeker Colorado?

I have a private land mule deer hunt booked for this year in rifle Colorado and staying in meeker, I have new turrets for that elevation and was wondering if there was a range near that area to make sure everything is as it should be out to 400 yards before the hunt, I will be arriving 2 days early,

Just found these. Didn’t look into them much, but I think West rifle creek is public. Meeker Sportmans is private, but you may be able to call and set something up and pay a small fee. Doesn’t hurt to reach out to them and ask, ya know?

There is one by Rifle. I haven't been there but a local gun shop and the park service recommended it. You need a 1 day public land pass to use it, can get at Walmart or the park office. Park office said there are no target stands, a card board box works.

I believe you can target shoot in a National Forest, unless it's a restricted area, so there should be sufficient places to shoot around Meeker other than a rifle range.

Meeker Sportsman’s club has a hunter sight-in for a day or two before each rifle season starts. I think it was like $5/rifle last year.

Just pull off into any BLM and setup against a hill w some targets.. We do it all the time it's perfectly legal and convenient
there's a large flats area just south of Douglas pass on your way to rifle on 139 that has plenty of spots to shoot
