Ruger Gen 1 7.62x39

I was at the Academy in Mansfield this evening and they had this rifle on clearance for $449, $100 off the regular price. With my 10% off for being a veteran and some gift cards I had, out the door for $300 and some change.

The reason I post is that somebody had asked me a couple of weeks ago about this gun but no clue to who it was now. They had a couple left.

Those are good little guns… We had one the grandson used in 300 blk out… He killed everything with that little gun…

They are shooters with that caliber being close to the ballistics of a 30-30. The stock leaves a little to be desired. It feels cheap and very light. But for the price, that economy rifle is worth it.
