    SKB 885, 500 and 1500 Thoughts??

I don't really need any more guns right now and I have plenty of shotguns but I may have the opportunity to buy 1 or all of these 3 guns in what amounts to an a pre-estate sale. I don't know anything about the guns. Any opinions or information on these? What would you say they are worth individually? I have no clue on condition but I'm guessing they are in good condition. Thanks in advance.

We own 3 SKB O/U. I traded for a 20 that I believe is a 600 stamped Ithaca but made by SKB. My son swung two 90TSS guns in high school shooting competitively. I still shoot a tss from time to time. I'm guessing that gun has over 5000 rounds in it. Never a hiccup

That said I don't know a value on those models but they make a reliable gun

So I ended up getting an Ithaca model 500 20 ga over under. Price seemed right but online they seem all over the place. I just saw a used one on Cabelas website for $999 and I paid significantly less than that so maybe I got a great deal.

I also got a Winchester model 94 30-30 for what I think was a good price. Both guns were in great condition. Overall I think it was fair for both parties and both parties were happy.

I've had a SKB 585 skeet 3 bbl set for about 30 yrs and it is my go to shotgun since I had it. I use the 410 for doves, the 28 ga for quail and pheasant s over dogs. It has zero malfunctions.
Great gun, especially if it was made in Japan

SKB also made the Weatherby Orion over/under for many years.
I have one in 20 ga that I've been shooting for almost 30 years and I bought it used, never had an issue

Thanks for the replies, that is good to hear. I'm excited to give the 20 gauge a go.
