Nice! I've hunted them with dogs at night, but using a knife. Such a rush. Congrats on yours!

Goodness that’s a tank for sure!!!

thank you Randy M. I could have stuck this one, and usually do, the bigger ones they bay definitely get shot.

I finally shot at something besides paper with the 454 Ruger Super Redhawk I picked up off the classifieds here a few years ago.
The only factory ammo I could find that it liked was Federal Swift A- Frame 300 gr, so that's what I used....
(now that I'm shopping for another box I realize that stuff is higher than giraffe balls- Yikes)

97# doe at 45 yds, not too shabby for our place on the size.
She went about 30 and the bullet wrecked her as it should.

The next day I'm about to call it quits and decided to run my rabbit in distress app on my phone before packing it in- a few minutes of the noise making and in comes a gaggle of turkeys- While it was still playing.
So out comes the 10 and down goes a Tom. (30ish yds, 30 yd track) Sig 180 HP's.
(his beard is blood soaked, so looks stringier than it was)

One item of note on the Tom- when tagging it the tag says you must register/ document it online. (or whatever verbiage they used).
So, like the online version or not- if I read it right- on the Turks it's not an option. I obliged.
