    Cylinder timing?

Had a Ruger single action stolen, but they missed the mag, cykinder, I purchased another gun and the old cylinder fit, and looks like the timing is ok. How to check for sure? Don't want to be shaving lead.

A range rod is what you need to check alignment. I’d go ahead and shoot it and check for accuracy. If accuracy was good and no lead spitting then don’t worry about it.

Thanks. I will take it to Wiley's Gun shop near Canton! Just don't want a hand full of lead. Grant
