    Taurus TX22

I purchased a Taurus TX22 from Academy yesterday. After getting it home ... Looks great to me and going to give it a Range Test Tomorrow if the Weather holds up ..

Let us know the results. Taurus has certainly upped their game under the new leadership. I have a GX4 that I sometimes carry, and it has never had a hiccup with any load from 115 grain to 147 grain. Plenty accurate too.

Good Afternoon ..Just got back from the range and as a Bonus.. My Son was able to come along. We don't get much time on the weekends to do this sort of stuff since he started working.
The pistol functioned flawlessly but it don't like the cheap ammo. I found out that even though it's a 16 round Magazine .. use 12 until the spring breaks in and clean the Magazines beforehand.
Great groups at 15 yards and it's okay for small games out to 25 yards.

Just got done with maintenance .. One of the easiest pistols to disassemble and re-assemble..almost like a Glock.

I bought a Taurus G3C 9mm 2 weeks ago but haven’t shot it yet. My 1st Taurus ever. 2 other guys were buying a Taurus at Academy as well. Taurus has really improved over the years.

I’m still a little embarrassed to admit I own a Taurus, but I’ve had one for two or three years now and it’s a solid little gun. I keep it in my pickup for snakes/varmints. It probably has 1500-2000 rounds through it (mostly suppressed) and I don’t think I’ve had a single issue with it.

long time ago I had a pt99 , beretta clone.... when i got into glocks I sold it and regretted it ever since . it was bulky but never had any issues , jams, etc. .. and shot fantastic.
I never got into any of their polymer offerings until this tx22 ... aside from the finish being thin, it has performed flawlessly.
it has a lot of holster wear, and i've put countless bricks of 22lr through it .. i built my own taran tactical.. esk course and pretty much burn a brick every chance i get.
the only thing i changed is the front sight, i. swapped for a fiber optic for better contrast.

if they made a 9mm version with identical ergos, i'd probably get one. it feels fantastic in the hand.

I have a couple of them and the Comp model. Great gun for the price. I shoot the comp model in steel challenge
