    DPMS jamming issues

    Shooting suppressed…randomly has feed issues.
    it may be the 3rd shot…maybe 5th… maybe 1st
Take the can off and the problem goes away.
And I’ve been using this set up for 10yrs with no problems.
I’ve cleaned and cleaned…and swapped BCG with a friend and it still malfunctions
And we put my BCG in his gun and it works perfectly
    Thoughts ?

My DPMS AR10 does the same. None of my other AR’s have an issue with the can. I was told adjustable gas block and stiffer buffer spring would fix it. I’ve bought a new gas block but have yet to put it on and shoot. Need the spring to test if that fixes it.

Its probably just over gassed with the suppressor and you need an adjustable gas block. You could try a heavier buffer and spring if you don't want to change the gas block

Is it possible this has changed throughout the years ?
As stated above…I’ve been running this setup for yrs and yrs…100’s rounds

I have adjustables GB's on all my AR's. My DPMS will give issues when its dirty. A good clean and lube and she is back purring. All GB's were initially setup on lowest setting and never have had to adjust. Maybe a spring issue that has developed with wear/use ? Good luck.

Misread it and thought the can was a new addition. Its possible your spring has worn out if you've shot it a lot. Without being able to mess with it, its hard to diagnose it. If youve cleaned and lubed it well i would personally look into the spring.

You should swap lowers with your friend and see if his lower runs it fine. If so its likely a spring issue. If his does the same thing its something going on with the gas system most likely.

                  Springs can 'go soft'.

What kind of feed issues are you having?

                    Have you tried different magazines?

Yes… and it has no problem without the can.But keep in mind I’ve run this can on this gun for years. This problem just recently began

How about your gas tube. Have you cleaned it?
