    Leofoto Tripod help

Under a few recommendations for the green screen I bought a Leofoto LN-354C heavy Duty with the Leofoto YB-75LC Half bowl adapter. I have used it 3 times since purchase and now its making metal scrapping noise when I move my gun. I have taken it apart to clean it to ensure that wasn't causing it. After cleaning I put the mount back into the tripod and was able to duplicate the noise without the gun being attach. I persume this is because the mount and the tripod are metal. So the question I have for the people who own there is there a separate bushing that I'm missing or need to purchase or is there anything that you use to pervent it. Please keep in mind if I put any type of lube on it I hunt in a dusty enironment.

    Thanks for any information.

I think I would use some graphite to lube it with.

I’ve got 2 of them, and they get thrown in the bed of the truck or can am for days at a time fully extended in far West Texas. All I’ve ever done is wipe the legs with a rag or shop towel before closing them up if they get a ton of moon dust on them. Other than that the only maintenance I’ve down is clean the ball head about once a year.

        TX03RUBI,

Here is a video with just the mount in the bowl with out the yoke installed so there is only the weight of my hand on it to move around. Could I be missing something like a zylon bushing that is suppose to set in?

Mine was doing the same thing. I took the ball head apart and sprayed Teflon lube on it.
They aren’t hard to take apart. If it gets too dirty just clean it and reapply with a more lube.

Yeah that would drive me nuts. I’d try the Teflon truck below. I’d expect that to cure the problem. I need to grab some to keep on hand.
