ID:	26684192 I tried to resist buying another chronograph but the glowing reviews of the new Garmin made me do it. It’s a tiny little booger. I’ll take it for a test run tomorrow.

Yep. I made a post about it several weeks ago. The Garmin is amazing. It’s the only chrono to have now IMO.

Do it. It’s extremely fast and easy to use. Don’t have to worry about placement, suppressor use, or it not triggering. It’s been 100% every shot I’ve put through it, and the rest I’ve seen.

Here’s what I said in a thread I started a month ago after using the Garmin for a few weeks:

The short version…..the Garmin Xero C1 Pro chronograph is amazing. I’ve only had it for a few weeks but I’d hate to do load development without it now. I have chrono’ed around 200 rounds in the last few weeks with zero issues. It hasn’t missed a single fired round. You literally take it out of the box, screw it on the stand, set it on the table beside your gun, and point it towards the target…..DONE. It’s absolutely amazing. It’s not “cheap” but it is absolutely worth it. However, it is cheaper than several others. I previously used a Caldwell and completely despised it even though it’s all I had. The Garmin is a game changer. Plus it’s about half the size of a regular iPhone.

Today, 1/7/24, I went to the range to confirm my Valkyrie load speeds at 500 yards. For my loads, I confirm chronograph speeds at 500 yards and then true the BC at 600 - 750 depending on the caliber. In the past with other chronographs, I have always had to adjust the speeds, sometimes as much as 75fps or so, to match the actual point of impact on target vs the bullseye. Today using the Garmin is the first time that my original speeds from load development at 100 yards matched the dope at 500 yards. My dope called for 8.91 MOA up. I dialed 9 and hit center of bullseye. That being said, I may not have the same experience on the next gun I develop a load for but I’m sure amazed so far. Plus, it simply doesn’t miss….ever.

I got to try it out on one of my .17 Remingtons. The Lab Radar won’t pick those up. Shot 10 and the Garmin didn’t miss a one. Unfortunately I didn’t get past 4000 fps velocity.

Love mine! Got it back in November and promptly sold my LabRadar while it still had some value. So far after several range trips not a single issue. It’s not fussy on how you set it up, takes up almost no space on the bench, battery lasts forever and not a single connection issue.

How is the accuracy compare toMag Speed?
